About Carola and Ullis

One day five years ago Carola said: "Wouldn't it be great to start a gallery where anyone could show their art? Imagine all the fantastic paintings we would get to see!" That´s how the idea for an online gallery was born. But at that time neither of us hade the knowledge to create a website and we both had small children and jobs. Making the gallery a reality seemed hard.

Time went by, but the dream never left us.

Three years later Ullis stumbled across SBI! (or "Site Build It!"), a product that offers a complete solution for websites. A SBI!-owner recommended it to us, and looking in to it we knew it was the tool we needed. Our children were now older and we had more time on our hands. We said to each other: "Let's do it!" We dived in and got to work. SBI! provided us with step by step instructions on how to build a website from scratch, a website that attracts visitors from all over the world. Most of it is done without using any html-code (except for the actual gallery which is created separately in html with help from a friend). This year in march our gallery has has been open one year and our artist comunity is growing every week and so does our visitors numbers. We are so excited about being able to gather artists from every part of the world, and it's so much fun to see all the fantastic artwork out there. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
